Description

EMLA Cream is a topical anesthetic containing two active ingredients: Lidocaine and Prilocaine. While originally designed to numb the skin before medical procedures, it is frequently prescribed to treat Premature Ejaculation (PE) by reducing penile sensitivity.

When applied to the head of the penis shortly before sexual activity, it temporarily blocks nerve signals. This reduces over-sensitivity, helping to delay the ejaculation reflex and allowing for longer-lasting sexual intercourse.

Ingredients

1 g of cream contains: 25 mg Lidocaine and 25 mg Prilocaine. The other ingredients are macrogolglycerol hydroxystearate, Carbomer 974P, sodium hydroxide and purified water.

Can I use a condom with this cream?

Yes. However, you should still wipe the cream off before putting the condom on. While EMLA is generally compatible with latex, wiping it off ensures the condom stays in place securely and minimizes any risk of the cream weakening the latex or leaking out.

What happens if I leave it on too long?

If you leave the cream on for significantly longer than 30-45 minutes, the numbness may become too strong. This can result in a complete loss of sensation, making it difficult to maintain an erection.

Will this numb my partner?
